If you play on Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or heaven forbid, Internet Explorer, try switching to one of the fox variants (Mozilla Firefox, Firefox Quantum, Waterfox, or Earthfox) or Opera.
Some of the lag that exists is client or server side. As such the developers cannot "fix" this lag. Furthermore, the server isn't terrible and works adequately. I can play without lag, myself. Try switching web browsers, cleaning up your computer, and reading the lag reduction post on the Astroflux Forums.
Question: What're everyone's favorite races and why? I've been a sucker for R/V since the first game, huge battleships, and lots of healing. Not to mention Battlecruisers. Lots of Battlecruisers. R/V are the best late game by far.
Spammed nearly the same message many times; (seriously, check chat history) in several different cases. Even this was a near-repeat of a previous comment of yours. Contribute useful, relevant, and preferably helpful comments, and they won't get downvoted.
For fighting the Xeyed as Awalon on hard, get your Ion Frigates and their specialty, then get the defense station maxed and get the shield ability. After that, get lower ship/ability cooldown. In earlier levels, to deal with cruisers, get the Amari bomb. Spam Ions on one of the outside lanes, spam all your abilities, the defense station deals with the rest. Wins every time.
Also, don't forget, the developers HAVE done something about it. They nerfed the Tanker A1's cooldown twice. It has less cooldown than the Portal, as well as the Rocket Sled at this point. Cooldown isn't your only problem. No offense, I just want the whole picture out there :)
Aurell, that just means you have a bad setup to counter it. Some builds will counter yours, you can't have a build that beats everything, otherwise the game'd really be as unbalanced as you say. There's many counters to said Tanker A1's, first and foremost, just be fast enough so they can't touch you!
Well, that's where we part ways, I have fun doing pretty much anything so long as I get to hang out with my awesome clanmates! But, nonetheless, I respect your opinion.
@stphnl329 Not going to say definitively that the game is or is not pay to win, but you can achieve that particular aforementioned setup without spending anything.
Aurell, D.O.T.+run is not even affecting the community, it's affecting the game. That's just common sense. Also, sticky is still quite effective, False uses them to wreck in PvP. No offense, but you're whinging. If you want something done, start by being logical.
I'm not saying it would eat it, I'm saying that it'll do more damage than the amount of armor you have, therefore armor won't reduce the damage it does.
Aurell, it's an armor de-buffer; 20K armor is useless against it, ditch that. Also, 110K total health/shields is... mediocre. Try an all shield, or shield regeneration setup.
