Ok, I'll update my rating from 1 to 2. Still much work to do. I have upgraded to 200% damage reduction. Why to tanks, catapults and dragons still do 5-10 damage per shot (I see no difference to the damage they without resistance)? Why do my party members randomly target enemies? They should target strong enemies first, weak enemies last.
Well, on thing stays, I don't like the concept that you have to start a game over and over again to get all the achievements.
Downgraded from 2/5 to 1/5. Tried several approaches read comments, tried to follow their tricks, nothing works. I'm tired of starting the game over and over again to see if I can get past level 20 without using "carry over". I mean, the idea is nice, the graphics are nice, but I'm focusing on fun and frustration, and if a game is fun but has a very high frustration factor, then it's 1/5.
You know what sucks most? Random waves. Sometimes you can beat a level with the first try. And then there are levels you try over and over again, getting killed all the time, and suddenly you beat it without taking a scratch... in one word: unbalanced!
No, don't like it at all, unbalanced, to hard and what some people here call "skill" is just "luck" in my opinion. You don't need to have any skill, just a bit luck that the right weapons are dropped/for sale, that waves are balanced (not just mice/chicken/tanks in one single wave), that the right skills are displayed and so on.
I'm a level 23 ranger now and I can't go on without using carry over now since I still have my starting weapon with a reload time of about 2 hours and my party members just have level 3 and 7 SMG... that rocks against tanks, catapult, ogres and so on.
No, sorry, it's about the 5000th game I started and it's the first one where I could go past level 10, but now I'm stuck again... that's no "skill" or "difficulty" It's just "luck"... and a game shouldn't just be based on "luck" 2 of 5, since I like the idea but not How it's done...
