This is a pretty great game. The one thing that bothers me is the short pause when you get an upgrade. It really throws me off. Other than that, great job; 4/5 fo' sho.
I'm usually really proud to be a part of the kongregate community. But sometimes I come across games like this that seem pretty cool until they ask for your money.
You guys know why everyone hates telemarketers, right?
Absolutely awesome. I felt so satisfied for beating it and it was really fun to do. I have to say I feel extremely superior for doing it without the walkthrough :P Best puzzle game I've played for a while... maybe since "The Company of Myself." Awesome! definitely 5/5.
one note: Why does an omniscient AI need to assume anything? That part of the plot seemed a bit superfluous.
Overall, I like what you did with the plot in general. It seems just a liiiiiittle bit shallow, but it's interesting the way you brought it full circle in the end. The game itself was fun, not incredibly original but fun. The plot was definitely original.
The background: did I see a 2 floating around? I see what you did there.
Wow. This game is on its own echelon in this entire community. It's refreshing to experience a well-written story along with good gameplay. Very unique concept. Perfectly composed and executed. Flawless.
I have two small quarrels with the end: first, I hate the end boss. It's too mario-like and the music totally kills the peaceful and mildly foreboding mood of the rest of the game. I don't think it should have been incorporated at all. Also, I would have been more gratified if the game became an open-ended exploration-style operation when the game was over. I would have been more gratified if the game had actually ended. All in all, though, this game was incredible. The atmosphere made me feel like I was part of a fantastic universe in such a simple way. And it's artistically awe-inspiring.
Truly great job with this game. The entire concept as well as the execution are very well done. It's beautiful and refreshing and it makes me want to become a fox.
I'm really impressed with this-- I don't want to call it a game because it's a totally new way to use this medium to send a message. The overall game quality is very good, and while it seems to get a bit monotonous it does a great job at conveying a real meaning, albeit a pessimistic one. I've never seen interactivity used to tell the player something so implicitly before. Thank you for using this format in a new and interesting way. Just goes to show you can send a message without splaying it across the screen in 50 point type. Great job.
I keep saying this: there is NO achievement for playing for 5 minutes. I have no idea where you people are getting this information but it is wrong and you are just using it as an excuse for your failure.
