step to step guide for ad videos:
-you open the message like you would do with the no-video messages too
-there's a big "claim money for watching video" button on thebottom of the message (he's big, you can't miss it)
-wait until the popup opens (I use adblocker and it works, so it should work for you too)
-if video starts playing, sit back for nthe time of the video
-if it doesn't start playing by itself, click it 1 time (like any youtube videos)
and wait till the end
-the sentence above the video changes to "now claim your award" or something like that( meaning that it was successfull)
-close the popup by clicking the x in the corner (at least that's how it is in windows 10)
-you'll get the award automativcally, if paying attention you should also see a sign for a short time like you also do after "collecting" mission rewards
At least that's how it works for me (and probably always will).
if it doesn't work that way for you, don't blame me but rather blame the creator. ^^
Considering the ad videos: I think it's actually quite a cool solution.
Obviously it's up to yourself wether you take the offer and watch the video to get some free (in-game) money or not.
All you have to do is to watch the videos completely (meaning watching from 0:00 of the video till the very end without skipping or other funny stuff.
worked for me quite well.
And one thing I like about that is that the creator isn't like "Oh, you enjoyed the game until now? too bad. to see the last 3 chapters, you have to buy my expansion pack for x:xx dollar.".
the creator wouldn't be too happy about it but he leaves you the choice, so that you can also completely ignore these things if you really have a big problem with it.
Might take you a while to make the corresponding money but it isn't too hard. So you have no real disadvantage from not taking them.
Rather you have the following advantages in compare to other games with (buyable) ingame content:
you don't need to use (real) money for it.
you don't have to buy extra lives or other stuff in order to continue playing (hint: candy crush. why do people really waste money for it when you can get 100 similar flash games for free?m :-()
All you have to invest is between 30 seconds and 2 minutes of your time.
And let's be serious: You wouldn't have made that much money anyway in the meantime. :-D
I like the system since it earns the creator money without making the user suffer for it.
It's quite easy to do, doesn't disturb the gameplay too much and is totally optional. therefor I like it. ^^
PS: a mute button would be kind of cool since I don't really watch these videos actively (sorry about that :-P) and that way I could mute the game while it's playing the video. and not have to mute the pc completely just for it. ^^
kind of needs an end or an proper "The End" screen.
(At least I assume that I played the final level since my only choices were to either jump outside the screen which resets th level or jump in the gap where I can't escape from)
PS: And I wouldn't make everything in the same color. Rather have a segment of blocks being green, the next ones red, etc.
And then make then cycle through the red-green-yellow scheme.
I alo think that you should remove the flashing.
Or at least, reduce it to a lower rate like 1 change per second.
And instead of relying on the flashing aspect , put in some nice music (games without music somehow creep me out :O) and perhaps a few enemies, spikes or something like that.
So, the boss is gonna be like
"Hey, you killed 1000 heros! You finally get the last promotion and become the highest person in the company!
Oh, and as this is the fourth time that you died (even if only to get promoted), you are hereby fired.
I know, it's a shame since you are the best employee I ever had.
But these are the rules that were set by the supreme being that created this game, so there's nothing I can do about it. "
I disagree with some of the commments cause I actuallly like the currencies.
I never had or will ever have enough money to know all the official currencies anyway. So a alphabetical order is way better, at least in my opinion. ^^
Protip for the boss:
Focus on evasion. You won't be able to increase your defense enough to manage more than one hit at once, so make sure that most of his attacks won't hit you. A combination of maxed out evasion talent and corresponding rings and bracelets will be your key to victory!
Being able to reset coins and talents would be cool.
Cause I have focused on the sword tree and I definitely won't do all that grinnding two more times just to get the other trees' achievements! :O
Or at least let us refund the money for 50% of it's value.
Yeah, its a remaster of SpaceWrecked.
