PS: Found your original message considering the bad ending.
Placing it earlier, perhaps right next to the teleport upgrade, might be the best solution.
But these are just little details. ^^
Can someone give me a little hint?
I've every possible upgrade (including teleport) except the one associated with X.
I've also found the 2 hints.
I went to that place only to find walls of spikes with no way around.
I've been searching the map a few times but I don't know where to go next.
Can someone give me a hint?
At least a direction? Or an area where I have to search?

(SPOILER) Once you got teleport, don't go back directly to the first screen. Go on your left (the screen with the big elevator in the middle), and use the teleport here. You'l get the forth power up. This one will unlock some paths. Thanks for the feedback, I will add a warning about the bad ending! I also currently working on a second game and it will be better than this one, this one is just my first game so it's just a test game.
EDIT : if you found the two "walls of death", then you're in the good way! Get the forth power-up in order to unlock some paths, then you will be able to disable them!
Just came back to the game.
Last time I was here monsters were way too easy.
Now I couldn't even complete one level without dying.
Until I found a spoon with 3,4 multiplier.
Then everything was easy again.
Killed the golomb 2 without a problem.
Killed golomb 3 also quite fast.
Went in the -now unlocked - warp zone, finished the guy there with 4 or 5 hits.
went straight from level 132 to 269.
Went to the warp zone again many times.
I can fight that guy as often as I want but no level jumps anymore.
I remember seeing the roll bar at the bottom ranging withing a certain level span during my first visit.
Now it's stuck on my current level.
I don't understand how the roll bar and the warp zone in general works. sorry. :-(
Game is trolling me really hard! :-D
I see an enemy from far away.
But when I get closer to kill him, he becomes invisible and I can't touch him.
If I go further away, he comes back .
And the game also can't really decide wether I have 79 or 200 hp right now. :-D

You can get there via train.
But pets prices start at 300000, so be prepared. ^^
