I once fell from a cliff in spiked pit. I was bleeding, the pain was unbearable, and I felt certain death approaching me. The only difference this game has to such a situation, is that it takes longer to die.
This is how an adventure game should be. Fabulous, without mysterious pixel hunting, rich with items, smart and logical at the same time. Congratulations.
Uhm, I really think the game got fixed in the meantime, because I played it just an hour ago, and the controls were optimal, I was pulling combis 9 out of 10 times I tried, no matter the complexity, and was having at least one perfect KO in every match. The graphics are awesome, same for concept, there are some minor bugs, probably related with the "continue" function.
And for all the religious zealots out there, please, spread the gospel somewhere else.
At 10nth level, boring.
At 20nth level, debilitating.
At 30nth level, brain damaging.
At 40nth level, madness provoking.
At 50nth level... well if you got here, yuou know what I mean.
Gameplay 8/10
Leaves little to be desired.
Music/Sound 6/10
Nothing extravagant, prperly ambiented and not boring.
Scenario 7/10
Quite original and interesting yet quite short.
Control 9/10
Intuitive and as simple as possible for an rpg.
Graphics 9/10
I hardly dare ask more from a flash game without making seriour backdrops on system resources consumption.
TOTAL 39/50 (4/5)
An excellent game overal, one that can easily set the standards forthe game genre. It leaves much to be desired in story length, which in my opinion, it is not substituted by grinding. About the known "glitch", I have the slight suspicion that was consciously introduced. I can hardly believe that someone would spent THAT many hours to the fourth area. The control is superb, simple and effective with the ambient set doing the trick. Developers out there, here is a game that deserves to be taken as example.
