2 suggestions
1: i think it would be a nice detail if you changed the eyes of the ghost when you ate the power pellet
2: i think an obvious expansion of this game would be different maps, so after every 2nd or 3rd lvl the map would change so you dont get too comfortable with the layout, to keep as much of the creepy atmosphere.
would be nice with an option to respec your skills, especially for the sun emperor lvl. but other than that its a great game, especially the music is very good :)
this. is. bloody frikking BRILLIANT!!! the whole new effect of paranoia from not seeing the whole map is nerve wrecking, and when you finally get cornered those big staring eyes really freaked me out XD
it would be nice with some way to control or at least influence what kinda buildings are being build because only having 2 lvl 3 houses makes it a pain to wait for that final achievement while everything else is almost maxed and i got a max lvl of 71 and a town full of wizards :s
@ treznor20: thats part of the learning curve of the game, to get a feeling of how far away your geek is from the ground, its what separates the good players from the great players
i was thinking "this is a pretty cool game but not really great" but then i tried blind mode, and damn that shit was great. it was fun and challenging in a much different way than if the enemy had just moved quicker or started with more units, a really nice idea for this kinda game :D
the graphics of this game arent really to my taste, but it fits the mood really well.
the gameplay is awesome, i dont think i have ever seen puzzels like this before so thats awesome :D
the hint system works fine for me, there were some maps i woulndt have been able to clear if not for the "trial and error" from the grey number mechanics
my favorite part of this game was definitely adam 2.8, that made me literally laugh out loud XD
man, i really dont know how to rate this game, i want to give it a 1 because its so sad and the end is frikkin creepy.
but i wanna give it 5 because the storytelling and the idea is awesome and because the end is frikkin creepy...
the secret room with the shop where you can buy flare gun is stooooopid, when you buy something it rolls sin front of the door, and when you try to pick it up, you exit... really not a smart design decision :S
this was a stupid game, all the lvls where fun and the story and effect of changing between good and bad was good, but the ending really sucked... it was just so stupid, it wasn't death or anything else that killed you, it was the magic floating boxes who just suddenly and without explanation stopped being magical...
wow, just wow, im sitting here after finishing the last lvl, and im speechless and numb, i had to just sit for several minutes just staring at the end image before i could do anything... its amazing how some simple text and a convincing voice can get you so immersed in the story, that you actually start to feel for the AI, i had to work up ... something, i woulndt call it courage because that sounds wrong, before i could even attempt the last lvl. well done, well done indeed. plus i am wearing headphones with extra bass, so the heartbeat were really adding to the experience, and the music just disappearing somewhere in the middle was brillian, perfectly adding to the increasing "sadness" for lack of a better word. so yeah, these are my thoughts as i thought them, in no particular order ;)
