I really want to like this game, because it looks very nice and seems like you worked really hard on it. But, for me the controls are irritating as hell. Trying to target enemies with the cumbersome "shooting offset" while moving with the mouse is absolutely maddening (especially considering that the targeting is done with the keyboard while the fire button is on the mouse...?). Why not just use the traditional WASD to move and mouse to aim/shoot setup? The way it plays now just feels like trying to write with your off-hand. Awkward and forced.
I agree with OGRastamon - as soon as I picked up the third datapad (none of which I read), I quit. Boring...as...hell. I did enjoy the first one, though. Hope your others are more like that.
Fun, but with one weakness that designers always seem to miss: Keyboard game controls and mouse menu navigation. Easily the most irritating thing in flash games, IMO. 4/5.
Doesn't look like much progress has been made on this since February. I don't hold out much hope for this getting finished. Yes, I'm impatient. Sue me.
Fun, but a little monotonous. Different enemies every once in a while and powerups (maybe upgrades!!!??? jk) would make it a bit more interesting. 3/5.
Love escape games, but I hate the ones where you have to do some random crap to find something. Use soap on the toilet? Why? If it's stuck, then you should have some prompt say so. Otherwise there's no way to distinguish it from other scenery you can't interact with. For example, maybe the bathroom light is stuck. Maybe it needs soap to loosen it! You would never know though, until you randomly click on it, because there are no prompts.
Kinda fun. Kinda not. Relaxing, though. Wish there was something to do besides touch the orbs or avoid the orbs. Guess I got bored on the red/orange/yellow round. Maybe I didn't play it long enough.
I don't know... I guess I was expecting more on this go-round. Seems like moving the cannon around is jerky and not as smooth as the first one. Also, unless I'm missing something, it looks/plays exactly like the first one without any real notable additions. Hull? Hmmmm...
Why is there so much discussion about hell dining? It's easy as hell. Buy a grenade launcher and max it out. Or laser. Or gunmen. Or whatever. Simple. The zombie apocalypse is f'n hard as crap though. My hand hurts from trying to get that one.
Hate it. Too f'n hard from the start. On the 2nd suicide bomber level, even when you have your shotgun ammo maxed, you run out of ammo before the wave is over. So you basically spend 1/4 of the level watching them dive into your base. Not enough upgrades/money earned.
