Unfortunately, it seems that on hard you are going to need the bard (better ranged dps). The mages are ok but use up their mana and quickly become worthless and squishy. Since you can only have three in your crew, being a mage from the beginning is a terrible idea, unless you are a healer. Now I'm going to start COMPLETELY over as a warrior and complete the game on hard, so that I don't have to leave either my tank or my healer in town just to get some decent ranged dps.
2/5 for circumstantial difficulty based on character choice = sad.
Gaining XP and leveling up is what causes you to unlock new weapons/cannonballs and move across the map. If you make a bunch of terrible weapons and don't kill many enemies, you'll notice you don't get anything new and the wagon barely moves down the trail.
A great job converting? Not really. The controls are unresponsive and then jump to way sensitive, if you move your finger too close to the edge of your screen and have to pick it up, your white box will do a fast, sharp, movement that is unintended. Half the time you die you'll be saying "wth, i didnt tell you to move that far", if you even input a move to begin with. This game is awesome, if you play it with a mouse. Mobile, it sucks.
Totally agree with awkward, cautious never rolls with one die and then randomly decides to and "oh my god whadya know" gets a free roll. Me i zilch with six die twice in a row and get nothin but single fives for three straight games. Hmmmmmmmmm....
Agreed. It's something I'd do in the future.
