The first couple trial missions were really fun, the later versions (for instance the super golem and the end of hope) end up using the same formations and tactics, so that was disapointing. But I liked the challenge
Heros are super weak past level 6 or so. I didn't like that. I also didnt like not knowing what the next tier of upgrades looked like.
The grind is long boring and pointless, could use a x 100 speed if you want me to play the same level 40 times in order to level up enough to beat the game
Nature tree is so much stronger than the other 2. Chain lightning is the strongest spell in the game DPS wise and it never misses. Nature is also the only tree with a heal spell (the self freeze doesn't count because it basically loses you the game every time you cast it).
Ice tree was almost completly garbage, the only spells worth casting were the water elemental and frostbolt neither of which made up for every other talent being terrible. The wall does almost nothing; blizzard's channel requirement and low area of effect mean that you get swarmed by enemies (not to mention all the projectiles you take to the face); the self freeze as stated loses you games quickly. The concept of the ice tree, movement debuffs and crowd control would be great if any of the skills let you apply them to the enemy.
The fire tree would have been worth putting skills into if chain lightning didnt exist. High damage high risk skill set would make a great second tree to invest in, but with only 5 skill slots and nothing in the fire tree out damaging anything in the nature tree I didn't bother with this tree either.
Mana regen completly obsoletes flat mana upgrades till you learn meditate (at which point you need neither because 50% of your max mana over 5 seconds is ridiculous). If the total mana gain on meditate was halved it would still be the best buyable skill (aside from time warp once you have the gold and mana regen to sustain it) due to the great utility given by its cooldown reduction.
I would add more about the poor use interface and bugs (using skills you havent learned etc), the poor AI or a number of other issues, but people have more or less said everything I would about that.
Over all the game had a neat concept but was poorly built and balanced.
Really boring game, no growth, no real options. Poorly designed achievement section makes it difficult to sort through.
This game was not made to be played I feel.
I dont like that I have to jump before I can double jump (for example if I walk off a cliff I cant jump mid air, but if I jump down the cliff I get my mid air jump)
foras sesto pondero ver, roughly translated reads, "Sestus reflector out the spring". Other than that I got nothing. You can get a perfect game without using whatever clue its trying to give you.
Step one: select lu bu
Step two: summon 15 units
Step three: walk to enemy general
Step four: use demon rage
Win
Alternatively
Step one: press quit
(for some reason this automatically ends any mission in victory)
Poorly designed poorly coded game. 1/5.
Good exploration game, the only problem I had with it is one the first play through I completed all three of the quests before finishing, only to get the world destroyed by evil. As I had already spent an hour or so on the game and seen all its content (except for the alternate ending credits) I didnt really see why I should go through all the busy work for 15 seconds of content.
4/5, would have liked it better if I could start mid way through the game on a replay.
Poorly balanced (breaking is on a tier above all other items) easily solvable game. Very random item gains can make for a frustrating playthrough. Little challenge to be had after the boss fight.
if you lose and retry as soon as you receive stat points for a win, you can take the +2 points from a victory and start the battle over with no time lost. With this glitch you can max all of your stats before the young mage contest.
