good job, now you have wave counter. from 1/5 goes to 4/5. and because the game is actually just hard and i suck at it, rather than it being awful in general, 5/5. good work.
people wouldnt complain so much if the game didnt have potential. the problem is that the game COULD be so good, but it just fails in so many aspects. hope you fix all the enormous issues urbz
the reason the blocks fall apart is because you have to have every single "seam" supported. the problem with this is that the funnest part about tetris, where you could swap a block into a tight space, is ruined because the block "dies" as soon as it touches anything, which is lame as hell. good concept and good execution but fail at details
its annoying that you cant move blocks into spaces to fill gaps, like you would do in traditional tetris. this coupled with the feather-touch collision detection makes it hard to create a stable structure. also the snapping-to-grid feature is cumbersome for positioning blocks, since blocks can move freely once not under your control. anyways, 4/5
the main problem is that the cursor controls where you are, rather than the mouse. two different visual stimuli of your ship and your "center" make it very disorienting and hence, "difficult" rather than hard...i know it doesnt make perfect sense...
music is fantastic, but gameplay is too difficult, it could be "harder", but less difficult. making a game difficult makes it just annoying, rather than challenging
ive beaten both A-30 and A-19
A-19 was about 4 times easier than A-30...took me 6000 moves for that one, only 1500 for A-19...lol
its definitely not impossible though
