with more than 3 planets, its impossible to determine where the ball is going to go in plat mode. thus it becomes random, or you have to do it with teh guide and then try to copy the pixel exactly in plat mode. skill is not really a factor because the physics are unintuitive (they are correct, but they are unintuitive)
