i really wanted to aim for the imp badge here, but this game is poorly designed. first, for some reason, this dumb crap does not save my data. second, the gameplay is too rng dependent. for example, take the jupiter level. it has lines with a color segment in the middle you need to hit. i dont know how the developer play tested this, or at all, and thought it was ok because i frequently ran into problems where two lines would come from 1 side of the screen and make an impossible alignment, such that i could not hit either of the color segments. third, if you experience some frameskipping or lag, you are dead. 1/5 too many problems negate any fun you could have; i suggest playing 'from four sides' instead of this.
i cant understand this game or enjoy this. all im doing is just clicking and see what the game allows me to do. from what i understand, its just a tycoon game until you die. from what i noticed, the only way to "win" is to wait a couple minutes than the game shows you what you need to win; but when that time comes, it is too late to do anything. game is just straight up bad. cant believe the easy badge is what it is. the easy badge should be "play 1 minute of this god-awful game." needs a good tutorial and not just "click on this forest and then again." 1/5 please dont play this.
enemies need more variety. you shouldnt just be shooting multicolored spheres that dont have any other distinguishing characteristics. there should also be more danger on the screen. game looks pretty simple if youre just circling around and shooting randomly. the game view should be the whole map instead of this zoom in effect. 1/5 not so nice game.
i guess you could call this a blast to the past. who knew that what we needed on this site was a watered-down and bad version of a 'game and watch' game? putting things aside, this has no atmosphere to speak of. just enlarged pixels on the screen and you mashing left and right. i cant even believe what im seeing. what we need on this site is a negative star rating so players can truly express how bad something is. 1/5 dont even play this game.
1/5 game is boring. if i wanted to play a mobile game, id go to the google store to download one. cant believe this type of content is on pc. embarrassment to all other games on this platform. youre better off playing bejeweled or something. also, terrible attempt at a game since you rely on patterns, but the levels get randomly generated. the reaper you play as should use his powers on himself to spare us all the misery of experiencing this "game." 1/5 bad design, bad execution.
1/5 game needs better menuing. for example, there are so many forward commands you need to do for a level. you should be able to hold down shift or something to keep your selection instead of going back to the bar every time. should rename this garbage 'tediousness: the game.' overall this game is boring and dumb. 1/5 complete waste of my valuable time.
1/5 gameplay and story do not make any sense. if the main guy is mad that some weirdos took his robot dog, why is he hiding behind some metal things? shouldnt he be on an adventure and actively moving to get what he wants? he wont get anything by acting like a coward and waiting for things to come to him. about the gameplay, its just slow and boring. the guy moves too slow and there doesnt seem to be any end in sight. should show some sort of timer until the level is over. 1/5 this guy is a pansy and the game is not well designed. story should have been completely changed.
1/5 game is too slow. even when im going in maximum overdrive, i still feel like sleeping before i get to the end zone. there need to be more dangerous threats. for example, i thought getting hit by the police car would instant kill me, but it didnt. game is boring because there is no sign of danger. maybe if the fps was increased to 60 limit and the overall game speed was tripled, then we can talk about a game that isnt entirely bad. 1/5 very slow and boring.
suggestions: 1) i dont think its a good idea to have another campaign only available on another website and blatantly show it to the players. the game should automatically start with the 'u.s. forces' and have some notification after a couple of levels saying 'there is more content of this game on ... site.' 2) i dont really get the 'move to this point' win condition. on the first level, my dudes took out the front guys, but then are stopping in front of and shooting basically nothing. it would be nice if i could control my characters to move towards the win condition. 3) i cant really find a strategy or tactics in this game. all i seem to be doing is clicking on a guy to deploy and randomly selecting an area for them. 1/5 sucks that half of the game is not available here and the gameplay is just not good.
suggestions: 1) it kind of sucks that when you cut a piece that is moving, it loses all form of movement it had and just falls straight down. it should conserve the speed it had before. 2) more sound effects and ambience would be nice. feels barren considering ive only counted 5 different sound effects within the first 5 levels with no music. 3) would be nice if instead of a retry from the beginning you had an option to revert the gamestate back to after the first or second cut. found myself being pixels off of the win sometimes. all in all, 1/5 design isnt the worst but it feels like the developer didnt finish the game completely before releasing.
1/5 many things about this game dont make sense. first, the bird and the title are completely removable. they dont do anything for this game. this game could have been called 'some rebus puzzles' and nothing would have been lost. second, the rebuses arent even that hard. each one of them takes 10 seconds max if youre actually thinking. third, there has to be another way to input this stuff. use keyboard input and remove the letters from the screen for more of a challenge. 1/5 overall, id say this is a beginners trial to rebus puzzles and has some unwanted features.
1/5 this could have had potential as an endurance game. first problem, there is too much grinding for upgrades. money should be easier to get along with more variety in game modes. next problem, the 'enemies' need to have a better, consistent way of spawning. at first, i stayed near the bottom of the screen to react to things better, only to be killed by a plane coming from the bottom of the screen. planes shouldnt be able to spawn at a side that the player is at. 1/5 monotonous right now and i recommend all you readers to not play this game.
1/5 just another launch distance game with nothing new or interesting to offer. also, i think something might be wrong with the upgrade screen. when theres a level 1 upgrade that costs 10 resources and a level 2 upgrade that costs 20 resources, if you buy them separately, you pay 30 resources; but when you skip level 1 and buy level 2, you only pay 20 resources. buying lower level resources should deduct from the costs of higher level resources. very strange. game play is nothing new; all you do is hit spacebar and roll on the ground while, in real life, you also roll on the ground since there is no entertainment or activity. 1/5 fix market, fix gameplay, fix game type.
1/5 very bad atmosphere and 'gameplay'. i personally cant get entertained by text only or simulation games. this 'game' just does not have any visual, auditory, or entertainment appeal. regarding the battle mode, from my experience, you are told that you are attacked and you ready your forces, but you arent shown or told who or what you are being attacked by. this lead me to getting many more forces than i needed to take down 1 guy (not even sure how that is considered being attacked). i can see this being a problem later since i imagine that you would be attacked by more and more people, and still not be told the enemy forces. 1/5 overall, this 'game' style sucks and i cant believe this concept got off the ground. only 'played' 2 days before being bored out of my mind.
1/5 i just cant find any enjoyment in this game. this game would suck less if it had achievements that werent virtually impossible if you didnt look at the hints page or some guide. it would be cool if there were some sort of instructions to tell the player what keys did something, but the developers decided to be snide and not tell you anything. good luck knowing how to change color or how to do the contra achievement. 1/5 game is basically impossible if you dont look up a guide. i doubt anyone has 100% this trash without looking at something for help.
1/5 just boring and not fun for me. the levels get slower and slower because objects have more space to cover and they can trigger other lone objects. should be sped up right when you click or at least have an option for it. also, the 'gameplay' is pretty stale, especially if you play multiple levels. this basically looks like youre watching a looping video, clicking to pause the video, then seeing how many things are in the way. 1/5 it took a great effort for me to just finish the 3rd level.
1/5 this could have been something good. first problem, the auto-scrolling levels. personally, i dont like this type of design because they are either too slow, making the game easy, or too fast, making the game unreasonably hard unless difficulty is the intended purpose. i only played the first few levels, and it is too slow and boring as a result. i suggest a time limit per level so the player can do what they want. also, even if it was like that, the enemies seem too easy. all you do is touch them and theyre dead. should be a dedicated manual attack button. 1/5 all in all, very easy and boring for my tastes.
1/5 how did the developers mess up the core mechanic of the game, shooting? in the first seconds of the first level, i saw and then turned off auto-fire because i actually want to do something more than moving my mouse. after half a second after pressing down left click, the game decides to let me fire. also, i dont like how the game is immediately interrupted when you get upgrade points. really annoying and ruins no talent runs of this game. overall, couldnt get past the first level because of this game's strange design. 1/5 i would say skip this and just play elona shooter.
1/5 its all the same. these launch or distance games all feel like the same game. you launch your character, maybe click a few times, upgrade self, and repeat. i simply cant enjoy this genre; too much repetitive gameplay. 1/5 the thing this game needs is a complete redesign.
1/5 game feels too slow. needs a speed up button and it would be better if you summoned the creatures right where you were instead of at the back of the map. also, i dont understand why the player wouldnt just mash '1' and 'j' when there are enemies on the screen. just feels like a button masher. also, it would be cool if the upgrade screen didnt pop up so abruptly; i was just mashing '1' when the screen came up and i basically default selected the first option. i dont even know what i got. should have been press a number to select, then hit 'space' to confirm. 1/5 too slow and i cant really see a strategy in this, other than hit keys when enemies exist.
