Stop sign defeated, School only has two classrooms. Apparently this is a problem with where you are playing the game, and it works fine on newgrounds. That's a shame because i was really enjoying it.
GAME, WHY YOU NO WORK!!!
I beat the main game with the alt. ending, completed the bonus missions and didn't get a badge. So I retried the last level for the 'proper' ending, AND did the bonus missions again, and still no badge? What's going on there?
I've played a LOT of CCGs in my time (Hell, I've even made a few) but this is probably the best one I've played. The combo potential is the best I've ever seen. My multiple hats off to you fine gentlemen!
I find that Kongregate is a great site to come to when I need to relax for an hour or so. Then I played this. I now feel like headbutting my monitor.
SO FRUSTRATING!!!!
Very very cool game - the presentation was immaculate, the intro movie was unexpectedly well-polished and the interaction of the games objects was (mostly) logical and gave me a good sense of smug satisfaction when I worked them out.
And then it all went wrong with the whole alien console rubbish. I spent ages keying in combinations of commands that I'd seen around the place until I *finally* figured out the whole on/off nonsense. What a big let down to an otherwise brilliant game. 4/5
Hey, do you know what'd be nice? If every jump was at least possible? Every now and again you'll reach a formation of spikes which is actually not possible to get past. That's a fun concept for a game - keep going until the game decides to boot you. Bad times.
The difficulty has increased...
Damn right it has, my shift button doesn't make the semicircle jump anymore...
*hears record scratch, sees giant red X, throws keyboard out of window*
This might be the finest game on Kongregate. I am a designer and creator of CCGs, and have been playing games like MTG since the alpha days; as such I have played a LOT of CCGs over the years. What you have here is a fine example of how the genre should be approached. The mechanics are simplistic in nature, but grant enough freedom to make each of the cards clever and unique without the constant need to introduce new sets of rules every ten minutes. As such the game flows beautifully and is instantly engaging. The artwork is top notch, the music is atmospheric and overall the feel of the world you have created here is one that I imagine many players will be drawn into. I anticipate further chapters of the campaign with baited breath, and I wish you every success with your incredible creation. Vote this up if you agree with me! :)
WOW THIS GAME IS AMAZING!
Not really, it's absolutely dire. Who dreams this rubbish up? The only 'pirate' thing about it is the fact you're repairing a pirate ship. All this to get the limited edition pirate badge? No thanks Kong, I think I'll give it a miss...
Nifty little game. I can't be bothered getting the few medals that I missed (play for 1 + 2 hours, play 8 + 10 times, kill 5000 enemies) but it's nice that I didn't have to in order to pick up all the badges. All in all, very impressive! 4/5 stars from me!
