Also bug report: sometimes a creeper gets glitched so that it doesn't attack anymore but it can't die. I just follows you around... preventing you from finishing the level.
More or less fun. My chief complain though is having "bonus missions" that take your stuff away. I'm only going to be playing this game for a few hours of my life. Taking my upgrades away makes the time I spent upgrading my items feel empty. The bonus challenges should be challenging things to do once I'm upgraded.
Nice sound, vocals, and graphics. Could have been a good game if they scaled the initial difficulty back and eased your reflexes into it. Sticking an "it's really hard" disclaimer at the beginning of the game doesn't excuse the fact that this game is just poorly balanced.
I don't like having to configure so much at the outset... I kind of expect a game designer to start me out with a carefully chosen default and let me slowly tweak things as I familiarize myself with the game.
I like it okay. Great art. Would be more interesting if there was some consequence to death. Resetting your coins, losing xp, losing levels, score that was tied to performance... something to make me pay a little closer attention.
Great game, but a few little interface quirks could be improved. waiting for the coin animation to play out before it hits your coffers is unnecessary and annoying. Hotkeys for spells would be a huge improvement. Still, best defense game I've played in forever.
Thanks for ironing out most of the rune-system bugs. My new crippling bug of the day: On the world map, I cannot enter towns. When I try to enter hunts the screen doesn't change, but I hear the sounds of the battle playing out somewhere. So I'm stuck on the map for now.
Armor should have strength requirements. I need some incentive to not just play a ranged build and have 1 Strength and 100 Agility. As it is, characters who don't use a strength weapon just have much higher stats because there is no reason to have more than 1 point of strength.
I played earlier today and things were pretty much fine, but suddenly the rune interface is super buggy. Maybe some new update is incompatible with old save game files?
Great game but needs lots of interface refinement. Too much info gets clipped, too much scrolling, dps calculation would be good too. This is the first one in the series I've enjoyed.
4/5 Constructing your attack list from the available options makes for a surprisingly well balanced and interesting gameplay challenge. I wanted to enjoy the combat animations, but mainly had to concentrate on watching the buttons recharge. Should add the ability to cue up attacks.
Please update the game and try second star of level 50 again (with additing Wind and Landslide).
