Awesome game, kept me hooked to the very end. The combat is pretty easy to master but that is easily overlooked because the story line is pretty well put together although at times a little confusing and the artwork is beautiful! <3 5/5
Constant random environment fluxuations in this type of game is flunk.
Taking a possibly fun time killer and turning it into a excercise in masochism for the player is awesome, well played. :(
I can't get my flamethrower to register for the easy badge, Also I don't think that a player should be punished when his opponent rage quits the game. I understand it's probably not avoidable but it sucks :(
I used LavrDracko's strategy of using moses and mastering the tablet throw attack to keep satan pinned down. Works pretty well but like he says it requires some luck. While obtaining the Losin' My Religion badge I found that it's possible with anyone just by mastering their throwing technique (timing) but moses is easiest because he throws 2 tablets and offers you a little bit more time to execute the command again.
Replenishment restores 20% health and mana after every fight, it's pretty cool to have it on each of your characters atleast once... saves alot of consumables and time.
I think that the ability to control the way you re-enter the water would greatly improve the gameplay. Being forced into the waste clouds because of the way you jumped is kinda rough. But other than that the only thing I have the slightest beef with is sometimes when you destroy a large ship several more will spawn in right on top of you which for the most part means your demise :(. Great game though, i've been playing it all morning!
It seems like the high score list is a contest of who can abuse the corner trick the hardest. The score I have is from when my ball got caught on the first level where you need to change the red balls to violet balls... the blue ball can send the pearl under the green ball in the corner and it will sit there and bouce until it finally dislodges itself :( But aside from that, legitimately playing i can get about half of my current high. It's a good game - very difficult to be sure.
It doesn't matter whether you did or did not use the WT, after you finish watch the end sequence and then just wait for the award to pop up - it takes a while.
