I'm tired of games only hosting partial versions on Kongregate. That's akin to simply using Kongregate to advertise your game, which is pretty lame. 1/5 for this reason. I second that! =( A shame, because it looks like a really great game!
@ Foulco: Get the medals (see in-game museum). This should make your game easier. Start by getting everyone to LV 10, then get a NOBLE and try getting as many missing medals as you can. This is time-consuming, but should make your life easier later on. Good Luck
@garion122: I've gone quite far with most of them. My favourites are NOBLE (with Bowgun and Bowmaster skills) and SHERIFF (with Dr Hollyday and loads of Reloading and Accuracy). I really did not like the hunter and sniper classes... Hope it helps.
@rocklee19: Believe me, Big Guns ARE fun... Really worth having someone specializing on them in your party. Gravity Gun can be a nightmare to the enemies (specially with impact and leech mods)!
@Toposte: Every class has its advantages, I believe. For me, I like to play NOBLE and hire Rogue/Sheriff/Militia. After day 30 or so, I dismiss the rogue and take Ranger to boost firepower. Hope it helps.
How to make this game much less difficult: play with the sheriff class (or militia, I dont remember) and go up to LV 10. Restart ang get the NOBLE guy. Give him a bowgun of some sort. Then configure your party to have 4 NOBLES. Give any weapon to the other 3. The damage done will go up like hell and you will blast everything on sight before you even notice!
This game has a great concept and is pretty addictive. However the difficulty level is quite out of balance I think. Im on day 40 and it is really disappointing to get a useless Lv1 Pistol as a reward. -_- It seems to me that a major RPG element - the possibility to leveling up without advancing in the game story - was overlooked. A "training" option, with lower XP and rewards would probably be welcome. This way, the game would be easier without forcing me to build the house early on. Great game!!
@ Mythic Shadows: I managed to beat the little forest by placing 2 dexers near the entrance. One was upgraded to TACTICIAN, the other one to ARCHER with speed and damage. Both had physical and consecrate. I also put another dexer not far from them and upgraded him to an energy generalist just in case... As soon as i had the money, I filled up pretty much everything with LV1 dexers. Probably not the best strategy to go with, but |I managed to survive!
