Not a good tower defense game because you are playing the same map forever. Not a good idle game because upgrades are random and completely imperceptible (or plain useless). Too boring as tower defense but too demanding as idle game. It would be nice if devs try to make the game fun to play before focusing in monetization :)
Thanks for your feedback and for giving the game a try. It is still in its very early stages, so hopefully, over time, its mechanics evolve enough to appeal to more people like you :).
Finally beat the Monkey King! Loved this game :) The only thing I disliked a bit is that it was too easy to misstep into a level change tile, it would be better if level doors were outside the room floor. Good work and hope for more players in the future!
Screen is black while loading the game (progress bar is not shown until game finished loading). And you must load the entire game each time you enter (it is not being cached at all). So it takes a long time to start the game, and meanwhile the screen is black,
The game is hosted on Kong, there's no differences there, and caching would also be on their end via their CDN. It is much bigger than other flash games due to the amount of assets within it though. -Ray
There are not enough keys. I finished the game with no keys left, and I was forced to buy one to continue (if there were enough keys, I would've finished the game with 1 surplus key)
You are absolutly right. I haven't found a solution for this yet as i had them stacked, but then you can just take few hundred with you and are nearly immortal.
Maybe i will add a belt inventory, allowing you to wear up to 10-20 in belt, accessible with hotkeys.
As the game degrades into a bullet hell, the character becomes unresponsive. It has not enough acceleration (slow to react) nor deceleration (drift too much).
EDIT: thank you for your input. there is "how to play" option on the main screen where you can learn a few important tips. I have also significantly decreased difficulty of first five levels
