I got onto this game after the last update and found that all of my progress through each mission had gone away, and that the mission where you rescue the woman's husband from the dungeon had disappeared. I'm not sure if that was intentional or accidental, I'm just pointing it out. Although my mission progress had reset, I still kept my levels and inventory. :/
I just completed this game. On the level where you need to open a new window, do it but do not click "reconnect me" in the achievement column. Simply click the switch, go to your first window, close the second, and click "reconnect me" on the only remaining window. Hope I helped :)
I ended up killing the first civilian that's right outside the cave! I turned after killing the first monster, saw the civilian, screamed "Holy Crap!", and stabbed him repeatedly with the knife.
I found a sword! When you are at the first town (the one with the car) stand next to the turrent, then look northwest. You will see a mound of dirt at the base of the hill. The sword is on the mound of dirt. + so more people can see!
I think this game is great, but I had some problems. When I entered the well, my sniper rifle stopped working. Also, my crosshairs and compass disappeared.
