for bacteriazilla, use the laser lock, energy missiles, and shortshield. When he's doing the stationary spiral attack, hit him with missiles. When he's moving around use laser lock, and missiles. When he's stationary and sending out worms, close in with the short shield, followed by laser lock, then use all your missiles when he goes back to stationary spiral. concentrate on dodging throughout, and you'll be fine.
to get this badge, just let everything die immediately except yellow bouncy ball (avoid green). Yellow bouncy ball is the ONLY game that is remotely survivable beyond 4.2 or so absent remarkable luck. In fact, you can survive essentially forever, or at least until 8x. Just keep that alive, and you'll be fine.
as a million people have already said, it's ridiculous that the extra ball counts as a lost ball. Also, the "hard" badge should really be a medium. I beat Normal mode with 23 lives, lol.
