My biggest problem with this is your game description: "If the game will have 4.0+ score, i will make Diggy 2"
1. Only very good games are rated that high. This game is not that great. It's not terrible, but 3/5 at best.
2. Don't try to bribe us with other games for higher ratings. It's not going to work, and we don't appreciate it.
3. People haven't been clamoring for Diggy 2. It's not much incentive.
I'd like to be able to view the other bodies, launchers, stages, and boosts without selling my current ones. Also, I'd love to know what each boost does without having to buy it first. Great game as always!
Most of the text overlaps, so I can't read a large portion of it. It's super annoying that I have to click in the enter command box every time. My cursor should just stay there after I've entered a command. There is only one thing to upgrade, so it's barely a game at all.
The text should not be over lapping, check and make sure your browser is at %100 Zoom, there are 2 buttons with arrows under the upgrade text, you can cycle through the upgrades, there is a lot more than just one upgrade, and for the command box, I do not move the cursor to that spot, because some of the minigames you have to click, so if I moved the mouse to the command box every time you enter a command, it would get annoying. Thanks for the comment :D Edit: I will try to fix the problem with the GUI moving when zooming in and out on the browser. RE-EDIT: I am still going to try and fix the GUI from moving when the browser is zoomed in or out, but it will take awhile, just be patient, I am only human XD
I finally bought the oil company, and all my drills started at level 10,000 I quickly earned so much money that the game broke. It says NaN instead of how much money I have.
I don't have any comments on the gameplay, because I just got started, but I noticed a few issues with the presentation. The graphics on the city, wild, and heroes are great. The icons don't look good though. especially the achievements and settings ones. They look all pixelized and stand out like a sore thumb against the high quality of the rest of the graphics. I'm also experiencing lag very early on in the game. Solid idle game with potential to be great.
Thanks for the feedback! I agree, the achievement icons need some tweaking to get rid of stretching. They aren't bad icons, I just haven't got my UI down to not stretch or create artifacts.
Well I finally figured out how to get to level 4, but it doesn't excuse the fact that there are dozens of doors that just take you back to the level select screen. Hell, there are 3 doors right next to each other on level 2 that all lead to the level select screen. What is the point of that? Just to mess with us? Also, the only level I can reach from the level select screen is level 1. No matter what. Why even have a level select screen? And why do so many doors take me back there? It's so frustrating to go through a door on level 5 that takes me all the way back to the start of the game.
The additional Doors at the start of level 2 were meant to imply there were other small bedrooms like the one you start off in in level 1. I have added some additional indicators to the exits to differentiate them better, I am open to suggestions further suggestions
The doors on the Level Select Screen, with the Numbers on them, should only allow you to go to levels that you've already reached, if the doors open you should be able to enter them, this is to prevent people from skipping ahead in the story, but also allow people to return to levels they have previously completed if they want to, and to let them skip back ahead to the furthest level they've reached. I was hoping the Sign post would explain as much but I can edit it for clarity if it seems confusing?
Some Levels have additional doors scattered around them so if people get bored of replaying a level they can skip out more quickly without having to return to the start of the level.
This is so bad. How is it in Hot New Games? There's no way to drop down to lower platforms. The money you earn from collecting things is useless since you earn 10 times as much by completing the levels. you can just finish level one 5 times and max all upgrades before you even start on the other levels. Not that you'd want to play them anyway. They are boring and repetitive. Also, there is a horrible delay between jumps. It is impossible to jump then quickly jump again. The portal collectables are just there to make the levels beatable despite the broken controls. And the graphics are bad. When you fire then gun there is no bullet animation, no muzzle flash, nothing. Again, I ask, how was this rated high enough to get into hot new games?
The difficulty curve is pretty insane. After a certain point, it becomes very very difficult. I've tried every available level multiple times and I can not unlock anything. It's right around the time you unlock Cleo Patra. I have yet to collect enough pickups in any level where this is a chalenge, because they're too hard to reach without coming in last place. And the Gregzilla level starts counting down from 50 seconds before you can start moving. You really only have 47 seconds, and no matter how many times I outrun Gregzilla, I still can't finish the level. Also the level where you crush cars doesn't give you enough time. And in the arches level, even though I'm using one of the fastest characters, everyone seems to have a higher top speed than me. These are just a few examples of the ridiculous difficulty. Other than how hard it gets, it's a great game.
