While this doesn't have bizarre questions like the impossible quiz, it does contain questions that have no reason for me to know them (such as bird and fruit taxonomy).
I caused a bug. Tried to squeeze in a...giggly pop on the side of the screen and it disappeared, fitting another one in the same spot caused it to be unrecognized by the game for every purpose EXCEPT which color pops to spawn next.
The cutscene where you see the guy you're killing for the last mission confuses me.
Also, I had no idea he had a vendetta against that guy until almost the end.
Cutscenes for the briefing room were overly long and unnecessary.
Money pointless.
Story...meh. Gun-jam was interesting, but the only unique thing.
Fine, I'll play the game before rating it. I played it back before there were more than 4 servers. I think I'm validated in saying that I hate it and rating it low.
Some of the updates made it better, some....didn't go as planned. Food was supposed to restore your stamina and mining would use it up quick and there'd be this whole food-selling cartel around the mines. Never happened, why? Because it was cheaper, and barely an inconvenience to walk to a bed and rest, _they were everywhere_. It was actually more of an inconvenience for a cook to make the food than it was for the miner to hop off to bed for 30 seconds (sleeping was near-instant).
First boss still disapears for me when I die (and go back to the flag).
Third boss is neigh impossible, the second boss dropped fat loots (heals) every time it came around, making it doable. Third boss? You and a laser-firing worm that isn's subject to OBSTACLES.
That's right, my third gripe: enemy bullets aren't stopped by everything yours are. Thin metal platforms (third boss) and yellow metal crates don't block enemy shots, making them less than worthless cover.
Would have liked more upgrades. I used almost exclusively the laser (my playstyle was "sit in a corner and throw damage in front of me" for the most part, which killed mines more often than they hit me, and from that I'd concentrate fire on drones/drone bases while making sure that no turrets could shoot at me). So only one worthwhile upgrade was kinda "meh."
No idea how I got cash, was disapointed the first level where it took more of my money to repair myself.
I almost agree with naruto650. There's really nothing keeping me here. Level 3 started getting difficult (annoyingly so as the challenge was low, there was little reason for me to have died given my skill level at platformers).
So, this is Jets n' Guns, only shittier....
'cause I can't seem to hit anything unless I'm in its direct line of fire, which tends to kill me faster than I can get to a checkpoint.
Thank god for the lack of a Lives system.
