#Laughs!# Oh, physcomonkey, I just said that about my recent games as I grabbed the url to show someone.
YES, THIS IS A SUBGAME. IT SHOULD NOT BE. Thank you, move along.
JohnSteel echos my thoughts on the aiming system. At first it was at a decent range, ok, I can hit stuff, but then I missed the beaver's head and couldn't kill it. In an attempt to reaim I managed to make it so ALL of my shots were strait down, could never figure out how to change that. Suffice to say, I lost pretty quick.
I'm with tenkuchima. I can't seem to get past wave...20ish most of the time (my high is 27, I have no idea when that was) simply because I can't see half the stuff flying at me and can't see important powerups (health, shield). Not being able to see the entire play area (what do I see, like 3/4 of it? I swear, the screen doesn't scroll far enough to have any real meaning other than to cut my ability to see powerups and enemies). Controls are slightly difficult, I have trouble aiming at powerups and sometimes have to fly by them once or twice before I manage to collect them.
Not bad, took me a couple plays to get a feel for how it was different than that other bubble-collecting game we had half a challenge for a week or two back.
I rated 1 because I just dislike rhythm games in general. I enjoyed StepMania for a while, but then it got boring and repetitive (and ungodly competitive).
