that invincible soldier shit makes your soldiers go supah defence and etc. it just defends from bulets not gas battle field. If ya had that melon girl without head she would protect your minions from gas effect lol. but she removes all other effects (terminate, invincibalness etc)
lol still. the gates are destructable. But it requires huge boom or melting lava (or something). so pretty much i dont suppose the stargate will be in yet. But anyways, as wraith you could choose option to go Feeding on planet tho. As goauld you could make that planet slaves tho.
