A good melee weapon would be appreciated - but not chainsaws. Those would be louder than a 'yell', and also run on fuel...and I don't think fuel's nearly as plentiful as bullets in this apocalyptic land.
Though the lives system is annoying, you have to remember this is the first in the series. And yes, the later games allowed you to recycle balls if you made stupid (or not so stupid) mistakes.
@WavingAtYou Typically, in history, the original people to become king had the power (through force of arms). And throughout history, if people had money but no military force, the person with the money didn't keep it very long.
Easier than I thought it'd be. Then again, I went with the ranged staff & kiting, which definitely makes it easier for grinding - beat the final boss at 33.
For all the people whose games reset, I wonder what browser they were playing with (if it matters). For myself, I'll say that with the latest patch, boosted oxygen bars really helps..
Like HeavyDuty said, the micro time trial is the springboard with the numberbox underneath - when it launches you, yellow swirlies appear, collect them fast enough.
On a hunch, tried just swimming to Sydney, hoping for non-violence (aside from the Nuke) - it didn't spawn. I therefore suspect a certain level of violence is needed for the Nuke to spawn.
All these comments about why the nuke's flying over Australia - what year is it, and is it a Chinese Communist nuke (instead of just Chinese) - aka pre-Fallout nuke?
Hmm...a bug: Was low enough on Boss reputation that I was on the substitute team - however, an event allowed me to gain enough Boss reputation (at the cost of Fan reputation) to gain 1st seat again. After the game though, I didn't receive wages appropriate for my salary, as if I was still a substitute.
