Now that I play a bit further, I still love the game but this really is a no-brainer. Buy at "GOOD PRICE", sail to next town. "SELL". Rinse and repeat...Combats - hit people with lowest hp...end turn. Rinse and repeat.
Make a sequel. I like the concept, really, but the execution isn't so flash. Combat really needs to be changed, I'm thinking one of two things: 1) Turn-based simultaneous movements, gotta love that strategy. 2) Live-action blast away for fun, frenetic battles (Something along Frantic Frigates maybe). Overall wasn't the best game but I'm looking for a great sequel. 3/5
It's fairly fun, pretty cool and drifty, but what really irritates me is the other "so-called" rally cars that hog the routes that will give you the best time. It doesn't even give you a *placing*...as others have mentioned, it's just a time trial while you get to pass other cars, even though there's no visible mention of it. 3.5/5
This is actually a pretty cool game, with a bit more flair, originality and awesomeness, you'll definitely get a hit game going. Less repetitive, speed up button, bestiary, and keep caring about the community and you'll get a wicked game for your next one. 4/5.
Nope, the scores are legit! Killing the Easter Bunny doesn't actually get you any score, you need to kill the decoys and shoot the eggs in between shooting the main bunny.
Not sure about you guys, but 1) Is there a memory leak? The more I play the more I seem to lag. By the 22nd challenge, I'm lucky to finish it with the lag I have. 2) Loading hydras/giraffes seems to crash my Shockwave Player...or take like 5 minutes to load the game.
It's fairly solid, pretty fun, and cool, but I honestly don't see any significant improvement or changes from the first few Hand Of Wars. Sure, it was some decent execution, but it didn't really "wow" me. 4/5
Sure, this is a pretty solid platformer with a nice vibe to it [Give Up], but there's nothing really special to it. It's nicely executed, got a fair concept, but it didn't really "wow" me like some games did. 4/5
How is this rated so low? This is one of the best CCG's that I ever played, and I love the Bench system which really seperates it from other games. 5/5, fav'd.
