Look, I want to like this game right now but the balance of the weapons is pretty much screwed up. It IS beta right now, thus there's plenty of time, but I want to get weapon balance fixed before I can truly enjoy this game.
I'm annoyed that beginners at RTS don't know simple controls. Read description about Tower Spawn guys. CENTRAL TOWER. When you capture central tower, you get a random spawn [level 1 = spearton, level 2 = giant]. For "hold" point, click Hold. They can't move but can attack enemies within reach. Fall back - click on minimap, then press hold again. These are all very basic controls, and people are complaining about there being none. Well I'm here to set the record straight - get better at RTS. 99% of multiplayer people are noobs, and there's a reason why.
I am quite good at rhythm gaming [earned Hard Badges on SCGMD2/3, albeit having no patience to perfect everything though I probably could], and in Top 300 in FtB and so on, but I feel like I'm missing notes that I actually tap. Hit unresponsiveness or something?
@inkyvoyd You know that chat used to be 1 cent? But people thought it was a scam so he raised it to $3 and gave you a bargain for 50 gems. Get your facts right.
So you added jumping just for logic? This is a game, just saying. There needs to be actual strat, what I've done is pick up any crates, and hold the spam button. There's no actual point of manual reloading when reloading gets you killed and zombies continously come. Jump does nothing, thus walking left/right is all you do - stay in between the 2 sides of zombies.
Dragon, I read a 500-page book on game design. Believe me, I put a lot of effort into this game. It is significantly better than my other games. Sorry if you don't like it, but you don't have to ruin it for everyone else. Btw, the weapons have pros and cons, learn to use them to your advantage.
Alright, it's a fair game, but honestly, it's missing that fun factor. The levels and survival are repetitive and basically the same thing - spam the shoot button and kill zombies around you. Jump does like nothing, and all that changes is the map BG. The fact that even you don't remember that stat increase of headshots isn't exactly a good impression. This also needs more stats on guns, so I actually know which gun is better. Also, why do you call it loadout of all it is really just a weapon information centre? I want to like this game, but this missed the mark for me. 3.5/5
@JackXtreme Ahh, but if you lower the traction, are you sure it would go 7 steps? Or triple that of normal velocity? You'd have to create triggers etc. to change that. Then you have to stop it going up. After that what would happen about ice on dots? Arrows on dots? Boosts on dots? Portal movement on dots? What would happen to the slide if it was low gravity?
JackXtreme, try coding an ice block with your triggers. You have to have a velocity ["velocity"=10], but if you did that, it increases by 7 blocks...but wouldn't that contradict going up? So you counter that trigger with another trigger, maybe seperate profiles...try coding it with your X amount of blocks sliding. It would be hard to do exact triggers like that, which is why games have BUGs.
