Hmm, according to flight control, I shouldn't fly this way because there's about 3,000 other blimps, planes, helicopters and random pieces of flying gold and debris, along with a rocket being launched into space. Oh well, I guess I'll fly there anyway, for the hell of it - WHAT THE HELL WERE THOSE PLANES THINKING!??!?!?!
@ratslayerx Ping is lag. Basically, you want to be about 200-300 ping or lower for smooth gameplay. 500+ Ping means mass porting as you're late about a second or two.
I'm not overly interested in downloadable games, but I thought I'd give it a shot. It went fast enough...until I launched it and waited for patch. Out of 477 MBs, I started at 100 kb/s then dropped to 50 and so on. It's going to take my SEVERAL HOURS to download. This should not be. I talked to others in chat and same problem. Downloading should not take this long. Kongregate, you need to fix this. I shall reserve rating 'till later, but if this continues, it's going to be a 1/5.
@qwertylp2 ...Firstly, if you just read the link you'll see what I mean. Also, it's not 1/4000. You can get turn 1/2/3, turn 2/3/4, etc. So it's more. Then if there's 2 5% vs 2 40%/60%, odds get even better. Then you get all these attacks, and that slowly increases the chances all the way to 1/160 duels. Read thread.
Qwertylp2, I'm not one to use empty/uncertain evidence. I fight using logic and I fight through certain proof. It's not 1/8000. I've had 7 triple dodges in my time on HZ, a few weeks.
@qwertylp2 Have you considered this? http://forum.us.herozerogame.com/index.php?/topic/90-5-does-more-than-you-think/ Basically, it stacks up when you duel a lot, then you have couple of turns in duels etc.
@Weasemunk Spiral segments are fine. You have to start off really early on some of them though. I've played 30-40 times and I've only died on them a few times. The hard ones are the spirals where you can't just go in one direction.
Slasher, someone did a calculation on the chance of a person with 5% dodging 3 attacks in a row (or something). Most people assume it's really low but it's not actually as low as people think. I don't quite remember what it said but it was something like 1/160 duels.
Seriously, wtf. Read the comments. EVERYONE loves it. But why the heck is this rated 3.69? There is amazing graphics, the world map, the versatility, and the balance. A beginner can beat an experienced player if he is smart.
