Tips:
Attack SPEED is all that matters on your weapon. Always upgrade from white (I have yet to come across a non-white weapon that upgraded as well as a white one) and aim for 1.6 or lower. By purple it should be 1.10-1.15 (1.10 is rare, but I can confirm it does happen). Attack speed is MUCH more important than damage, since you'll get damage from other items/skills/enchantments and really just need to hit as often as possible.
Once you can retire, do so immediately. DO NOT wait & max your first vet item. Your vet items accumulate, until you have one for each slot. They level with you and are extremely powerful, so even a fully upgraded legendary from the level of monster your fighting doesn't compare. Once you have one for each slot, if you continue retiring then they'll get stronger (Random items replaced with stronger ones based on the vet item power) and it takes less time to get from 1 item to a whole set than to get your first item even past 5/10.
Not a bad concept, not really enough there to keep my interest tho (only went through the first day and a 'lil into the second). Definitely keep it up. It would be nice if your orientation effected hit chances (Behind them = higher chance, infront = lower, etc. maybe crit chances too) but other than that it's a decent concept. Will be looking forward to the non-beta :P
Had it @ 5/5, changed to 4/5 (After buying "premium content"). First of all, pretty disappointed with the fact the only thing I got for $5 really was a few nice enhancements. Maybe I'm not far along enough to appreciate them yet, but I was expecting extra classes. Second off, to give the premium status more reason & to improve overall in the game, make a few save files for campaign progress. Make it so each campaign save locks that character for other files so you can keep most of the code the same. More enemy selection would be nice too. Other than that, would be 5/5.
Really wished it were longer. Maybe add a few more levels & add some buy-able "enhancements" (I.E. raise caps, add element, damage, etc., to spend the least amount of time coding maybe unlocks after you have everything bought) to spend all the gold on? Other than the fact it was so short, fun game.
After much consideration, I've reduced my rating to 4/5. 6 reasons; 1) Balls often bounce off team-mates heads, but opponents in the same scenario catch it. 2) Descriptions of scenarios before you go into play are useless (Often times I've had 'in space' while in the goal box, and breaks nicely @ midfield) 3) Terrible AI 4) Lag in every browser, and 5) constant advertisement for mobile/PC version and 6) No wages for 'global' games (minor but notable). That being said, easily one of my top 10 favorite games.
I rarely give 5/5's but this game deserves it. There aren't many places the game feels too easy or too hard and it's simple yet elegant. I would pay for a mobile version, just saying :)
For some reason this isn't cropping right in Google Chrome for me, runs fine on FF tho. In Chrome it's like it's at 110% zoom or something with the edges cut off, I can't see the timer etc.
The skill "Muscle Memory" on a monk (Dwarf, if it matters) is currently not working... I tried it with Kick, and it didn't activate until 10 seconds even tho the 2nd enemy hit 50% health ~ 7-8 seconds, so it should have activated at 9. Other than that, fun idle game :D
As far as I can tell, mobile version is 100% the same with gold drops except it does have an option to buy gold/2x gold etc... No shame there since the gold rate doesn't *seem* reduced (Only played through the first few levels) so 5/5 just for that. Mobile version is a bit harder since it's mobile (not because of game) Interesting game though, definitely unlike any other I've played which is definitely saying something xD
Interesting game, way too short and it kinda just doesn't end... Once you get a few multishot/shrapnel you can slowly move and dodge 95% of the bullets, more if you pay attention, this is definitely a game where offense is the best defense.
To everyone complaining about losing letters - If you don't hold down space and kinda feather it you can slowly ascend, you'll never have to use pogo stick and if you hit duplicate letters it's your fault. I got like 4-5 AHOY's my first try using this method...
