OMG! I agree! I HATE level 8 in Extra!!! Completing it won't even give me an interesting image to view after. ... But... must... complete....all... puzzles!
What idiot would ever destroy a box that gave unlimited money?!? The workers obviously need an intelligence stat, so you can make them smart enough to realize what a boon they have discovered!!
But seriously, it would have been great if they were different colors so it was easier to keep track of workers (primarily, which one is the main character).
The prices in the shop for Plains of War are very difficult to read. Also, you really need to be able to see the current production rates of producers in the first three realms, to see the over all affect of other cards. It could be similar to the Heroes' estimates in Plains, in parentheses behind the base stats.
Nice game, could have been good. The scoring is stupid. Per level would be better, and timed instead of how many clicks. Needs a level select menu, at least to see level scores. And color options, for the tangrams, at least, but background would be great, too. 3/5 (but with some changes could be a 5)
I gave this game 1 star, years ago. Today, I stand by that rating! For a game that requires grinding for money, the way you designed acquiring it ruined this game! No radius for pick up, no instant pickup, extremely short time before money fades, and no delay at end of stage for cleanup. ALL are fails! Plus, the bombs are garbage since they have basically NO radius. Could have been a good (maybe even great) game, but you fell well short! 1/5
Great game! Very well done. One issue, add multiple excepted riddle answers. *SPOILER* Examples: "a hole" didn't work, nor did "tracks" or "footprints" (a better answer actually than "footsteps").
Cute little game, but its not really worth playing once you unlock Corn. Not worth continuing the run, or starting a new farm. I have two suggestions for you to give the game play-longevity in both runs and as a whole. First, add the ability to gain upgrade stars every so many Corn that you harvest in that run (i.e.: harvest 50 get one star, harvest 100 get a second star, etc.). And second, add achievements to earn across runs to give goals to try and reach to make you want to continue playing longer, such as "By a New Farm [X number] times", "Harvest [X number] Tomatoes in a single farm", "Harvest [X number] Peppers across all farms", "Reach Work Multiplier of x25", "Buy [X number] Upgrades". Just an idea that would make this game great!
My first thoughts... lovely music, but this game is too simple and easy to not get bored quickly. ... Glad I kept playing! The varied puzzle elements added a nice, gradual complexity and challenge to the game as it went on. Well done game that I am giving a rare 5 out of 5! My only complaints are the awkwardness of controls when moving the rotating cubes, and I wish there where number levels on the boards as you play (i.e.: "10/25" in the corner). Thank you for making such a great game.
