The skeletons shouldn't over time other wise whats the point. I understand you have that we don't have a very large skeleton army following the player and all skeletons kill the enemy very fast but I feel like the sketetons should not die over time and we should be able to spawn skeletons that is not from the dead enemys.
I recall the reason for this being that the player could have infinite mana. You'd rapidly use Drain Soul and Regenerate Bones to fill mana and then heal your skeletons. In the Arena mode, this leads to a level 10 necromancer outperforming a level 36 warrior.
