Either spend money on equip and die (not considerably slower), spend all money on herbs/potions and die (takes bit longer) or run back and forth village and mob areas... killing you on attempt usually. 3/5 stars due to clumsy controls and high difficulty.
What XanThorax said doesn't sound bad, but sounds more like a "Monster Castle Defense 2" to me. ;) On the other hand this game could still need some tweaks. A) Halve all human-attackers HP for example, this ~should~ roughly give a good difficulty. B) Most people aren't very fond of "no-cost" upgrades, either halve the overall training cost of all monsters AND let their upgrade cost be the half of that (new) building cost. OR: Keep the current building cost and have upgrades cost 0+10 for each Level. C) Let people know that it's possible to enlarge your game by using the browsers zoom function: ctrl + numpad +/- for Mozilla Firefox. Additionally to this (to make more use of it) Put in a small roman numeral, as each monster's current upgrade level, starting from 1 when it was placed and going upwards from there. D) The Queen should definitely kill a monster with a single hit and devour a heart for this action. It's extremely frustrating having a single human take 2-3 hearts from you.
There should be an Icy Gifts 2, with several difficulties, more upgrades, new icy gift types to blow up, similar music and maybe even a Level Editor. + to keep this comment alive.
Finally! A single battle against Albino Bat to get his Encyclopaedia entry... And now to get a Sun Axe by Revenant. >_<' Btw. Both of these are found most of the time on the first monster filled floor of Sun Temple and vanish along all other 'Sun Temple only mobs' when setting the Warding Stone (and such completing the Sun Temple quest).
Like Floriel stated before you get stuck sometimes. From what i saw it happens when having the pinkish human thing with you and space+jumping out of the room. This requires you to start from the very beginning, so... be careful!
30 seconds doomsurf is actually easier than rescuing a single dino (completing all levels). All it depends on is having luck with a relatively flat field (which is randomly generated whenever starting a run, shift/continue preserves the same field).
End of Day 20: "Congratulations! You defeated the final wave!". Only thing that seriously needs attention are the sound bug (electric sound that loops after some time) and graphic bug (when scrolling game screen out of sight and back, it happens to stay blank).
Oh and something else i noticed, some weapons ignore the brought limit for ammunition and stay at a specific number. Like Grenade Launcher with 1 Ammo. Try holding spacebar down when firing, auto reload action.
A starter tip, one or another might find useful. At first buy 50 Gunmen (priority 3), 1 Craftsman (priority 2) and Shotgun (priority 1). Just buy those whenever the money from the last round is enough to do so. Better not spend any money on other things until getting these, might kill you. :P Btw. priority 1 = most important, priority 3 = least important. Also recommend getting some clip rounds after that, since reloading takes quite some time and clip prices always stays 1000 for 1 ammunition. Happy defending everyone.

- Bringing new enemy ships into play
- Survival Mode (i bet many miss a Score to manipulate)

Find it a bit boring... Key to success in this game 'spoiler ahead' is to grab as many cells as possible in the beginning, then spreading to your enemy cells to overtake the level. This works ... weirdly enough always. 'spoiler end' I would suggest people try out Tentacle Wars & Tentacle Wars: Purple Menace, for more strategic & challenging gameplay.
One of the many mind-blowing games out there. Not only is it fun to play, it also provides scientific knowledge packed with an easy-to-digest story, casual controls and last but not least lots of humour. What can we wish for more?
