The Apple Pie -> Muse -> Rest chain is a little overpowered. It heals you, and gets you more mana than it costs, and the only thing that really makes spamming it less worthwhile is Artist's Block.
As far as offense, sure chaining a dozen Gores together before playing a Big Guy is impressive, but I personally get more mileage out of Warrior -> Ambition chains, or Wanderer -> Stab if I've played one or more Gores.
As much as I like Mars, the Unlock section for men ought to list "swift as a coursing river," "strong as a great typhoon," "brave as a raging fire," and "mysterious as the dark side of the moon."
Grandma's kinda useless except as a reminder that ground enemies exist, and even then the most annoying ones bounce over her cat anyway. Mom, on the other hand, is amazing, with the metric ton of air enemies.
Ugh. For a game which conspires to make your accuracy utter crap unless you hold still long enough to die, the AI have godly aim by contrast. I'm calling shenanigans on this fake difficulty BS.
In Endless mode, you can heal a lot in between waves by freeze-locking the last couple of enemies in a wave while Frozen Angel is active. Also, all spells destroy any projectiles they touch, so Thunder Pengu, Frozen Time, and other wide-area spells are fairly useful if you can't immediately deal with ranged attackers.
nice find. hope you beat the top score (71 waves, i think)
