Here in the 21st century, all games need a graphics quality adjustment and a save feature. Game is too long to play campaign at one sitting, especially with lag.
Can't connect now so I'll mention bug report here. (1) When enforced silence is the first card played, it apparently doesn't expire so the game can't continue. (2) When Memory Serpent is the only card in the computer's hand, it can play it, but when it's the only card in the player's hand, it can't be played due to the discard cost.
What happened? I beat the last boss, didn't get the badge for some reason. Now when I try to go back and play him, the room is swarming with bad guys and I don't have any ammo.
One problem with this game (as with other march-across-the-screen games) - the men are stupid. My own men will march right into my own gas attack. There needs to be a "stop" command.
I totally agree on the loaded dice. Even taking into account that the defender wins matching rolls, that means the attacker should win about 40% of the time. The true total when a human attacks appears much lower than this, whereas the computer apparently gets closer to 40-60 odds when attacking. This wouldn't be such a problem except that the computer adopts a turtle strategy in almost every game, meaning that you can easily build up armies faster than the computer but you end up passing for dozens of turns in a row in order to get the numerical superiority you need to take out the computer's fortress territories. That's just not fun. NEEDS REBALANCING!
This really is a very fun game, especially the graphics. One complaint about the AI though -- it never spends any money! On hard mode, the AI could probably win most games easily if it would buy extra staff when it gets 700K.
Pretty fun, but a big problem -- if you run out of fuel in the middle of a combo, you fail, even if that combo would get you to the next experience level. It would work better if experience were calculated for each hit, with multipliers for successive hits. Making the experience accrue when you hit the ground means that you have to cut some good combos short.
On endurance mode, either the "extra ball" tiles need to be removed or the extra ball needs to go away when you complete the level. I accidentally hit an extra ball tile on level 6 or 7 and made it to level 10, but it really cuts down on the fairness of the game.

Not really based on luck -- you can plan for bonuses, and if you get enough early, you can finish 30 levels with bonuses to spare. Deeper game than it appears the first time you play.
