I am not a fan of this one. The first red remover is one of the best puzzle games on the site, but in this one the difficulty seems arbitrary with early levels being much harder to par than later levels.
There is simply too much premium content in this game. I don't object to premium content, I understand that developers want money, but things like units and upgrades should not be premium exclusive. Kreds should speed up the unlock process, by allowing you to purchase medals. Instead they just removed the best units in the game and asked for money if you want to see them. The vast majority of users won't pay for content, so they're just handicapping their own game. Kreds should be for optional game enhancements, not integral content.
At first glance, this is a pretty awesome game, but the longer you play it, the more issues become apparent. The "auto" option is essentially useless, it simply allows you to watch your soldiers attack their downed oppenents repeatedly as healthy opponents literally tear them apart. Money is grossly imbalanced with slaves being so expensive that the purchase of any slave above level 3 econmically innefective (the number of battles it takes to get the money for a level 4 fighter will raise an existing or cheaper one to level 5-6). Buying weapons isn't really a choice till town 2, at which point money becomes worthless, as each battle pays out more and more. By halfway through town 2, you will realize that there is no variance. you will just fight three more dudes, with slightly better equipment, for the next 5 hours. This game is not beyond hope, but a total balance redesign (and maybe 1 boss per city) would be necessary for anything more than a 1/5.
Very dissappointing sequel. Virtually everything in the game can be purchased, and somethings have to be purchased. This removes almost all skill since any 3 year old with thier parents credit card can instantly be on level 31 with infintie money and all upgrades. On a trivial side note the game window is simply too large- I have a widescreen moniter and even on the highest resolution I have to choose whether I want to see my money or my available upgrades.
