Are the universal multipliers additive, or do they stack on each other? If the second is the case, it is never worth getting the 32x speed boost- you'd be better off buying two of the 8x for the same price, and getting a total of 64x.
It is a bit of a bummer that even though there are loads of different monsters, but that their statistics are all exactly the same, and only based on their level.
The lag and unresponsive controls kill a game with a great, novel concept. Fix the completely unnecessary lag and make it so my characters actually RESPOND when I press a button, and you've got a good game.
Well, I beat it, but I'm having serious issues on the office level- I've killed 9 scorpions, and completed 8 other tasks. I have no idea where the other scorpion is, or how to acquire the tenth and final task!
Those revenge waves are the most annoying thing ever. So a lightning assault is a bad tactic? Why? I understand why the game might be too easy otherwise, but then just ramp up the CPU difficulty. Don't just say "oh, we'll throw 90 enemies at the player. That makes sense." Honestly.
What a seriously frustrating game. Bugs are pretty common- you'll skip over towns, battles, achievements... And the simplicity is similarly frustrating. There are no tactics, and no real planning involved in anything. As others have said, it needs more of everything. The plus is that I do like being able to see prices before traveling- a common complaint of mine in trading games.
