I think the hitbox for getting eaten should be the mouth, not just any part of a bigger fish. That way you could approach from the rear in those uncertain cases. I also think the screen should wrap and you should be able to reach the edges at any size. Other than that, I like this game's crude simplicity, makes it more compelling somehow than other fish eat fish games. Advice: Start this game with a nice clean monitor, any speck of dirt can fool you while you're still eating small!
Wondering if anyone has played either version of this game with a strong rogue character (i.e., using the lower-damage, fast hth weapons that help you steal stuff). Seems like the temptation early in the game would be to become something else, but it might pay off at higher levels.
I actually like this game's musical qualities. I feel like I am scratch DJing with some weird experimental bluegrass record. The title music is okay cheese, but the guitar in the game is sweet.
What I would really like to see in future versions is an adjustable tactical AI, so that (for instance) infliction specialists could be ordered to hit every enemy in turn instead of the one in front every time.
Attention Flash Game developers: With notable exceptions, your poor taste in music is part of what makes you a nerd. We are all nerds here and we fully respect and love and appreciate your nerdity. But please provide a mute button.
There should be a level between hard and impossible. Hard is pretty easy, and impossible is, well, impossible. Alternately, I think levels, levels, levels would make this game a more lasting challenge.
