Hmm... I hoped those tutorials would take advantage of objective programming in Actionscript.
I was quite dissappointed when I read "let's just copy the EnemyShip class exactly."
Good tutorial, in spite of that.
There is no point to it. It's not a torture game if it lacks the point.
"Where's the ****in' money, Lebovsky?"
How am I supposed to torture a guy if I don't have a reason? It could use some work on this aspect.
Unfortunately, it crashes on me.
My flash version is LNX 9,0,48,0, so it must be the "LNX" part that does the crashing. Good thing I have XP installed as a backup for such occasions. 5/5.
Also: Can't wait until other chapters and/or final release of Deliverance.
I enjoyed the game for quite a while, untill I found an easily exploitable bug in balancing and/or AI.
If you swarm a single path with archers, not only enemy can't approach them without being turned into a pin cushion, but also he will stop sending troops in other lanes in some situations.
The first is clearly a balancing problem, the second - AI.
If you will make a sequel, be sure to find a solution to this one, because it just made this game boring to me.
I too, just like Jorma in a comment earlier, had to play this game for a third time to get badges. It was far from boring, and I will gladly play chapter 2 for a second time when badges are added.
Can't wait until remaining chapters and final release of Deliverance... it is going to be released in some undefined future, right?
