Caravaneer	Feb. 12, 2008 Rating: -1 epimetheuz, your wrongness disturbs me, for one thing, water is denser than ice. there IS also ice ABOVE water level. therefore if it came down into the sea, the water would rise. think of it this way if you have a stick of ice sticking out of a tube of water, when you push the ice furthur in the tub, the water rises. if it melts, its just like it being pushed in, because it is not solid and changes shape
