I gotta say I really love the animations for the individual creatures you can summon.
Overall, vast improvement over previous game. Gameplay's a little simplistic/repetitive but still good.
Wow, what a huge step down from the previous game. The battles are longer and more tedious because you have to LEVEL UP EVERYTHING DURING BATTLE. The enemies don't stop coming at you so you have to rush to accumulate, like, a BILLION MANA POINTS, which refills at a snail's pace, in order to build up everything FROM SCRATCH. Are you kidding me? Then there's a story attached that's filled with hokey dialog that I have to skip through before each battle. That would've been tolerable had the gameplay not been so... awful.
Look for a strategy by banddork1988 in the comments if you want a really good strategy. Also look for my previous post to get bonuses on the first two rounds. You'll be set for sure afterwards.
The people in the game should not have the same weight and properties as the pieces of lumber and steel holding up the fortresses. It ruins the game, especially the final level. Waaay too tedious.
For a bonus on the first two rounds, build a pet shop and a newspaper stand in front of it, along with another newspaper stand a little further back. Then on the second round, build a boutique next to the newspaper stand as soon as possible.
Waaaaaaaaaay way way way way way waaaaay too laggy to be playable. I was looking for quality control to lower that. Seemed like a neat game but it's unplayable.
Considering how much trial-and-error is involved, do you REALLY think it's a good idea to put a limited number of lives and having to start over from the beginning once all the lives are used up? Baaad idea...
Every level seems to start off the exact same. The only difference between levels, at least from the first five levels I've played, is the number of days. If this continues to the end of the game, might as well just have given us the option to play the final level.
The bridges are too delicate. It's hard to enjoy a game this tedious and I refuse to use a walkthrough for many of the later levels. Maybe if the budgets were a little higher...
Fast games indeed. Would've been better without the circles and with more things to click on so that it's not entirely clear what clickable things are needed to progress.
