*World Dominator
Apr. 03, 2010I love this game, but my god, the difficulty in the earlier levels is completely out of scale to everything else. The first time I played, I must have grinded in Cairo for 20 days. The second time, I must have done Cape Town for at least 10 days. Now, I've been stuck on THE FOURTH LEVEL for 20 days. 20. One soldier is still able to mow down, say, 7 zombies (who were right next to him, with about level 4 on each trait), and I'm trying to deal with, maybe, anywhere between 4 and 7. It just irks me sometimes, but everything after Africa is always a breeze.
Good game, but some levels really annoy me. I admit that it's part of the challene, but it just SUCKS when you go off a jump, and land in a way that makes you crash instantly. EVEN IF YOU AREN'T FLIPPING. Just land, crash. It just seems really harsh, y'know.
Sorry, but I think you absolutely murdered this. I have *extremely* fond memories of SSBM, and this feels too clunky and awkward, and adding in extra characters seems a bit pretentious to me.
I just glitched on lvl 15... everything is back where it started, but it looks like power is still running and the laser and all that... I can't interact with ANYTHING...
It's not that great YET... but with a bit of work I think it could be a front-pager. Put in a story, (archaeologist exploring ruins or something?) some better graphics, (like rocks in the background) slightly more interesting gameplay (powerups, enemies, I dunno) and you might be onto a winner.
LOVE the Calvin and Hobbes reference, HATE the game. Fire rate and weapon damage do NOTHING, or if they do, the change is unnoticeable. The rectangular screen SUCKS because you get a fair shot at some enemies and others are impossible. 2/5.
