Get a better server before you post a multiplayer game. Game plays horribly because of so much lag. 1 out of 5 only because no zero until server issue fixed.
Ambrosia --- one way to make blood burn viable, is to have the physical defense drain come from the enemy...That way you are weakening them in physical while strengthening your dark defense....as it stands its fairly useless, but this switch would make scenarios where it would be in play
Lytris: re switching...
The way I understand it, part of the mind games is deciding whether your opponent is going to switch out when you are charged up (have enough energy) for your "power attack." Intercept and they stay, you may have lost your chance to use the power attack....attack and they switch, you waste your energy...attack and they risk you will guess intercept, and you likely kill them or weaken them beyond effective recovery...any other switching method would not set up this "chess game"
The lag in the game/server is unbearable at times...don't even get a chance to move or select attack...can't see enemy when they enter screen...Please FIX server issues BEFORE inviting more people
I'd like to see a 7 and even a 10 card matchup. 3 is fun, but one mistake or random miss on a high cost shot can be hard to come back from...5 is definitely better but some strategy is limited. A larger card match would allow for even more strategy and for greater risks to be taken knowing you could still stage a comeback later. In such a large card matchup, though, the timer should be shorter, maybe 20 seconds or so to keep the matches at a reasonable time limit
What about starting matches w/ a random close/far positioning...changes the balance of starting cards some plus makes the "random all or random your" card selections more worthwhile
2 additions that would be nice:
1) Ability to see record against each individual opponent (i.e. 4-2 against J. Doe and 2-3 against L. Doe)
2) Ability to create your own character (w/ perhaps a standard image for simplicity). Set number of points you can assign to defense and strength of attacks/costs plus ability to select from pre-set innates.
Solid game, not sure if it has an end though because became repetitive long before I was at risk for losing so I quit. Upgrades max out too soon. New enemies max out too soon. Fun despite these flaws
