beat all 5 missions in 5 hours and 22 minutes... could have done it faster, but had to get a handle on the game... the trick is to get to fighting the bandits and just auto-buy enchantments... you make more money than you'll spend... you'll quickly get strong enough to beat the bandit leader... after that, while auto-buy on enchantment is on... occasionally auto-buy weapon or armor... could beat the game in less than 5 hours with this knowledge...
So, I saw this reply "Upgrading the right elements is part of the strategy. Just start a new game if you want to change tactics. The first 6 levels are quite short anyway." I wanted to change upgrades and started a new game. Still have stars where I allocated them.
So, I start a new game a few times. Have 9 stars. On level 2, I noted that wave 1 gave $8 per kill with 3 stars on the 2% increase cash per kill upgrade. I upped it to 6 stars and I get $7 now.
I know I'm cheating by quitting every 3 level and using the stars, but its better to not use stars because it would seem that they hurt you. Allow me to actually start a new game or fix the %'s and math.
I really like the game. It is challenging. Would love to see some badges for it. But, there are some flaws that need to be fixed. I have only pointed out what I have found. I haven't been able to beat level 4 yet. (that's why I'm trying to take advantage of the star issue :p)
why do heat vents take on heat from diagonal cells and get destroyed, but they don't cool themselves? yet, other things... like capacitors... which are easily destroyed by heat don't take on heat from diagonal cells
how do i have 13 "deaths on the job" when i haven't hired a single miner? would you like a screen shot? i've taken it already... did i die 13 times while i continued hammering rocks?
wow... i got soooo far yesterday and today my game is reset. i figured, "my fault. i didn't save." then, i see that there is no option to save... i'm pissed
this is a really good game... i'm gonna see it through... only just beat the first 5 levels... i only have 1 complaint... and it's not just this game... but, a lot of games do this... i absolutely hate when games force me to spend game $$ on something i may not want to... or force me to evolve (forge) 2 cards together when i know there is a better combination... i know, its just the beginning of the game... no big deal... but, that's $ and cards i could have done something better with if i were not forced to spend them...
i really like the game... i have a single complaint... when you use the speed boost not only does the boost stay with you into future levels (not a problem to me) but, the speed boost glitches out... if you use it in current levels, every time you farm metals all other spots disappear... and in future levels, the screen regularly glitches out... i've noticed a similar complaint from ericbomb98878 (top comment) only he didn't really give much detail...
i'm a little disappointed with the temple of the monkey god upgrade... it's an awesome upgrade in itself, but i experimented a bit... i sacrificed a pretty supped up temple to another temple thinking it would be even better... but, it turned out to be a downgrade...
Level 1 - Hardcore mode... Summon four soldiers you like... how about, I summon 3 and upgrade 1?? AND YOU LET ME PLAY HOW I WANT?? I seriously can't start the map unless I have 4 soldiers? Since we're doing this much... How about I get told WHERE to put those 4 soldiers??
did i break the game? after the 1st quest completed, i got no new ones... but, i was able to find 6 more treasures all right next to each other in the 0,X coordinates... yet, can't find anything anywhere after that...
It does say "Days Since last Death on the Job"...so you actually mean it's been 13 days, not deaths.
