Most Champions and SpellStones can only be purchased in the Shop. However, there are some that can be rewarded in Trophy Progress and in the Premium Battlepass. In Chests, Big Chests and Might Chests players are rewarded Experience Points for Mojos and Champions, Ore and Gems.
