Dont defend (much), just pump cash and tech, then outproduce the enemy. But you might want 2 fortress planets at the enemy corner :P

I don't know if this is a bug, I increased a scorpion's range using chargors but the "bullets" do not reach the range. so it keeps firing at enemies that it can't reach
