So... I've played this game in it's full quite a few times. I like it a lot.
But it's just recently this last time that I discovered two things.
1: Triangles can screw you.
2: I never even noticed the Reaction Chamber before after you beat the game.
AND with that being said... I propose two ultimate challenges for anyone brave enough. One is based on skill. One is based on how well your computer can handle things.
The computer test is simple... the game even warns against such idiocy, but let's see if you're crazy/brave enough to try.
Go into Reaction Chamber and put 999 of each and every type of polygon. Then hope your computer doesn't crash and see if you can beat the level.
Now for the skill one, it's a little harder.
1: You can use whatever upgrades you want.
2: Set the strongest non-super triangles to 16
3: Set the strongest non-super squares to 8
4: Set the strongest non-super circles to 4
5: ???
6: Be pro.
1: The tutorial gives little to no explanation. And the English is terrible. (Don't use English if you don't know it....)
2: The game lags a bit, the 'Hackers" (The red pentagons) are damn near impossible to shoot at higher levels.
3: The DDOS Attack phase is asinine considering it gives you NO warning that you have to hold down the mouse button to charge before it begins to fire.
4: Back to those Hackers, if you're going to count them as part of the target number then they should be easier to hit, or you should be given more time to hit them... considering you can't even shoot them until you've fired your bots.
5: The upgrade costs are ridiculous. At least for the amount of points you obtain. And of course the cheapest obviously under-priced upgrade (The Cross-hairs... I don't even count the music upgrade) is useless.
Not even kidding. No possible way to lose. Bigger particles don't eat you... ever... even if they're like five times bigger than you, and you can LITERALLY just sit there and let the particles come to you eventually.
1: Use the actual word you lazy moron. 'You' not 'U'
2: The 'Annoying BG Music' would have actually made this game better.
3: Controls felt VERY sloppy, I hate games that don't stop when you stop pressing the key... in some places (For example on ice,) it makes sense, but as a whole it's stupid.
4: Good concept, but if you're not going to put the effort in why bother, I could have made this EXACT game on GameMaker.
Ok if you use 'Blind Prophet' You're a piece of sh!t. Discovered it while playing Szeplax Demon Prince.... It is the only true OP card I've seen so far...
'HASTEN' THE 'CHRONOENGINE' 1st step of this Combo, is to get 2 or more ChronoEngines on the field. 2nd step is to have Meditation and Rejuvination playing every turn or so., 3rd step is on the third turn in a row after Rejuvination and Meditation (Or just Meditation if you've already got like 200 health...) is to use Hasten on ChronoEngine (Or your strongest, under 9 attack creature), and keep skipping turns to keep using Hasten.... oh and one final bit... never use fire power, and have the rest of your slots filled with Pheonix's... YOU WILL NEVER LOSE IF YOU MAKE IT THIS FAR!
OK so. Time for my review. First off let me say, this was a FUN game. I spent at least a good few hours playing it. Although I never managed to complete my Rare Ring collection I still managed to get a sizable one. I like the simplicity and lvling choices. I literally used all my level up points to boost my speed. The few flaws I have to mention are first, Normal/Easy. so I played Hard, which is what I'd call normal. You did the 'Starbucks' thing. Just leave easy as easy, normal as normal, etc. No need to complicate it. Also spells not being able to be sold for exp, the restricted inventory space (Yes I know most people would just keep the best gear and ditch the rest. Nope I kept one of each of the rings, and all three sets of specialized armor/khopesh weapons. Also at the end, I was disappointed with the very broken English. However I loved the Egyptian theme, the gameplay was fantastic, and the leveling system worked perfectly. So overall I'd give this game a 4/5.
