So it turns out you can dissolve an alliance with yourself... multiple times simultaneously. I believe what causes this is by changing from a higher difficulty to a more peaceful one somehow causing a world war to break out (why, I don't know, it just happens) and one civ you're allied with declares war on another civ you're allied with. You'll defend the one who did not start the war (unless they also declared war on someone else one computing processes/game ticks later, in which case you'll be at war with them too) and eventually the game catches up with itself and notifies you that since you're at war with an ally of (your player name) that your alliance with (your player name) has been dissolved.... multiple times... at once.... I love this game XD

Would be nice if you could reset your policies at the cost of having to regain the social policy points back

If you get the traditionalism social policy of Oligarchy, which reduces unit maintenance by 50% in capital, and also the Militarism social policy of Professional Army, which reduces unit maintenance by 50% in all cities, will your empire have 100% maintenance removed or 75%? 1st and then 2nd half, or half of the remaining half?

If anyone wants to look into it and let us know how to do it, as I'm having trouble recreating it, there's a way to duplicate troops. All i know is that it involves clicking really fast somehow, as that's how I spawned two sets of shadow tigers (four total).

anyone else buying endurance and resource potions that won't work?

Developer response from CreativeGamez

Hi, your potions are displayed under your inventory (Home). In the first 5 days you have all potions for free, so if you buy one potion in that time you will just get additional 7 days to that potion. Best regards.

I'm having lots of fun playing this game. Being able to reorganize everything makes it constantly feel new and challenging to be the most efficient at all times. I've noticed that a lot of the water tiles are going to always be unused and was wondering if in a later update there could be floating platforms that could allow certain land based objects to operate on like; roads to act as a bridge, windmills, generators, reservoirs, solar panels and energy emitters. 5/5 Best idle game I've played in years.

The game froze so I refreshed the page and now all my data is lost. I didn't clear my cache, cookies, or history. Anyone know how this happened and what I can do to prevent this in the future? I'd like to know so I don't lost all my data on any other games.

i have the best strategy to beat swinebrook and the orc beserkers! This took me only one try to do. so what you do is spam buy a bunch of 10 gold units in a single line where there are no enemies asap, let enemies get through your lines while yours go through theirs, you'll beat them first because of all the units you have spammed getting through, they'll stop spawning and you can finish off the few remaining if you need to. I won very quickly with 25 out of 100 HP left. Like if you think others should see this strategy!

(Final one) what if all of the resources could be continually depleted by a certain amount, in return, for a bonus. For food, poor nations would work for you and increase production. For wood, poor countries looking to build farms would give you soldiers up to a maximum of a certain percentage of your barracks for the next war (but maybe making them leech off your food reserves). for tools, developing countries would give you either cars or research. for medicine they'd give you immigration, artificially increasing the birth rate. for cars you'd help a country develop, in turn their way of life improves and it could improve the market somehow. for weapons, it could weaken a random country as long as it's not their last one, so you may take it over yourself and claim the yearly tributes. For research, tools, cars, medicine and weapons slowly become more advanced across the global stage, increasing their effects.

Plus, maybe some random events as time goes on or as you reach a certain checkpoint that options appear for a certain problem, making you decide what kind of nation you want, determining what positive and negative bonuses you receive. Maybe richer nations begin requiring money for social benefits but have higher living conditions and other bonuses that fit that notion, whereas poorer nations have higher birth rates, less food consumption, and higher death rates. Stuff like that. Also having a market would be nice, where we could sell extra food, wood, tools, cars, medicine and maybe even research and weapons. It'd be even cooler if the previous suggestions possibly affected the market, as it would be the one saving grace of having a high maintenance rich country compared to high birth rate and low food consuming war ready poor countries.

what if there were different options for managing the population that came with certain bonuses. Let's say you want to sacrifice youth safety for resources so you have children work at age 12, thus you have more workers but it makes your nation more of an autocratic nation than one of the people, in turn indirectly impairing the economy via cash gained from food, tools, medicine, and cars. It'd be like the website nationstates where your laws have varying outcomes. Lowering the age at which women have kids would make more babies but increase the death rate due to health complications, especially if you run out of medicine, making a volatile population that randomly bursts and deflates if you're not careful. The current feature of 60% women being workers could be a default, but a variable where the lower it is the less females workers are available for job assignment but there's a higher birth rate, and the higher the percentage of women working the more workers but lower birthrate.

the commander talent "assembly line" doesn't work completely. it reduces the cost to upgrade guardian and phoenix buildings, but it doesn't reduce the cost to build them like it states it does.

the the developer of this game, i really like playing it. however there are a ton of great suggestions made by fans which you haven't even noticed or tried to on that matter. not only would the game be improved by these but when you do get around to updating it takes a few months and only a feature or two is added. not only that but you still haven't fixed some REALLY annoying bugs, one of which is why i am particularly wanting to smash my computer with a hammer because an hour of my time was flat out wasted and reset. I'd tell you why but i'm sure you don't care enough to fix it anytime soon. hopefully this game is at some point fun to play again and thanks for at least fixing world trade.

i used to play this game every day for about a month, then i chose an archer and it went downhill near the end. apparently if my speed stat goes over 400 or something around that, my damage per second decreases and i shoot less arrows per second (which is weird as it's supposed to make me quicker like it does on every other time i chose to increase that stat before). no matter what i do to my stats by resetting or moving equipped items around it just keeps getting worse. i was being punished for getting to a higher level. i don't know how or why but please fix this or don't let this happen in Hands of war 4.
