This problem was so horrible that I'm breaking my "never comment" rule. You've gotta do something about enemy archers being able to attack the gate before my units can even reach them. Turrets don't do much to help that either. Level 5 was particularly frustrating and not-fun. Your game is getting a very poor rating from me until that's fixed.
