Not sure how melee classes are supposed to work; they are too slow to outrun, have to get within melee range, which leads to you taking 3-5 projectiles to the face every few seconds. Suicide enemies explode on contact - you cannot outrun or dodge that.
This game has a pretty serious memory leak. While the game is focused and running it leaks ~1kb per 3-4 seconds. Seems to happen when actively clicking. It also spikes my CPU to 60-85% when clicking fast. I have an 8 core, 3.0 Ghz processor. It seems like an excessive CPU hit for a game like this.
I'm already working in this issue.
BTW, check your browser for a "Hardware Acceleration" option. It should be turned ON. Otherwise the game will only use your CPU without GPU and it can get ugly.
My apologies, my previous comment was too vague; prestige seemingly resets the skill points allocated. However, the numbers are still as they should be. However, it does not reward diamonds as the in-game text states.
I've put hours into this game; The usage of playing cards for probability rather than dice is very interesting and refreshing. It is really nice to see a plethora of playable characters each with unique play styles. The enemy attacks are interesting in how they thematically sync with the card requirements sometimes. So far Druid is my favorite class, especially if I happen upon curse mastery. The power trip of cursing an item to 200+, and then once they are about to use it, converting it into hellfire in the 400-500 range is cathartic. Awesome work!
Since the most recent update, smithing costs have skyrocketed. Went from a few billion to several trillion. This happened on the last major update, and was fixed a few days later.
Also, since this most recent update, the quantity of crops earned through Tilling has been cut by a major amount. It took ~ 3 hours to get 10 billion of a crop pre-update with all my boys on it. Now it takes roughly 15 hours. Unsure if these are intended.
Custom max amounts, buy-til-next upgrade option, lots of nice QoL options. I enjoy being able to rename the currency. Nothing like building an entire city whose sole purpose is to manufacture Butts. Or any other comedic gold. While the name may say 'Shitty' this game incorporates some of the best practices for idle games.
Believe me when I tell you, it didn't do so when it was named! ... Honestly it was named before I wrote a single line of code, back then it was the worst idle game.
Purchasing the "Crusade Covenant" does not add the correct number of crusaders for idling. I just bought "Crusade Covenant 6" which stated "13 additional crusaders for idling". It added 3. This happened on the previous ranks too. After buying ranks 2-5, no crusaders were added. Not sure if this bug has been mentioned.
Wonderful game though. I've been playing for quite some time. Donated a few times too, as this game has brought me many hours of enjoyment. Just wanted to point out that bug :)
Suddenly the crafting costs have gone through the roof! Like, within the last 8 hours... My Bonus Reset AP trinket wants 999 Trillion of each ore :( All other recipes also updated to be exorbitantly expensive.
The initial health of the enemies is too high; you can start in 2 ways. 4 basic towers or 1 flamethrower and 1 basic. Both options do not effectively deal with the first two waves of enemies.
Towers only target the first enemy. This makes the towers inefficient as they are constantly switching targets rather than finishing one off first. Other TD games have targeting options (First, Last, least health, proximity, most health) which helps circumvent this issue.
Because the towers can't kill any enemies, the player is unable to get enough money to buy more towers or upgrade existing.
Because of these limitations I couldn't test any towers beyond LV1 Machine guns and Lv1 Flamethrowers. The graphics are nice.
A mute button or volume controls are needed.
This has potential, update the balancing of difficulty in the early game and players will be able to fully experience the other towers and enemy types.
Thanks for the feedback, to survive early game you need to build 1 flamethrower and 1 basic in strategic position. after buy 4 basics and buy other flamethrower and you will be safe early game.
So, you can put skill points into any skill, which means unlocking them from most valuable to least is viable and makes the game very simple. Dumping everything into XP and Damage from the start has lead to me being level 2792, with all the skills unlocked and no enemies can even get close to me...
Also, one of the aspects sacrifices health for damage, but your health increases with each level so there is really no downside. I look forward to future tuning and feature updates!
I was excited when I saw Chibi Knight as the title - Thinking I stumbled upon the great game of the same name released in January of 2010.
There was a remastered version released on Steam in June of 2015.
OG: https://armorgames.com/play/5249/chibi-knight
Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/283080/Super_Chibi_Knight/
Overall this game is okay. It is a bit short, but with some polish and length it would be solid. :)
Same garbage as your previous game - except this time with less mechanics!
No mute, broken english, math doesn't work correctly. No effort in the art, UI, or mechanics.
I'm sure you just took someone's music and used it without permission or even crediting them. Kind of a scumbag thing to do.
Also, no mute button.
Also bad math.
Quick question : What determines offline gold gain?
Yesterday after being offline for 8-10 hours I received 3 trillion gold.
Today after being offline for 8-10 hours I received 290 billlion.
If anything I should have earned more due to increases to gear and gold gain bonuses.
I think is fixed now, thanks.
