Rslegion, didn't even know the controlable turret was there, until I just started clicking everything I could see (like 3 waves in), just to see what did what.
So far so good... but TD is a pretty saturated genre. But you have a good foundation here, if you want more ideas for improvement, I have a few. Just ask.
Terrible game play. No real control over whether or not you hit opponent. Nice graphics, not much else. 3/5 Oh, and by the way.... NO ONE CARES IF YOU'RE FIRST, SECOND, OR FOURTY SECOND!
Also, the "look" is really similar to Meat Boy... I suggest changing the character graphics... and make the tower out of something new... just suggestions. Overall 3/5, but could have easily been higher.
So you give a good game that needs improvements a 4/5? Wow, maybe my standards are different... Anyways, it has potential but needs work. What CDArena mentioned about it is true. This is one of those games that make me wonder if you can actually beat your own game. Have you play tested?
Also... need to be able to add quantities of soldiers (and such) at SOMETHING other than all or none... I realize, you can type in the qty, but who wants to do that???
There's a bug when firing a general. He stays assigned to army and continues to gain xp. Even after switching generals with the button during combat, my fired general gained all xp and hired general gained nothing.
